Easy to install
- In many cases LED tubes can be installed directly into existing fluorescent luminaires. It goes without saying that this should only be done if the existing luminaires are still in good condition. However, there is no need to worry about the condition of the luminaire reflectors, as LED tubes emit light in a different way and reflectors will no longer be needed.
- The second option is to install new luminaires specially designed for LED tubes, and they are available for a wide range of applications, from offices to commercial, logistics and even challenging industrial spaces. Here too, existing locations and wiring can be used. So, you don’t always have to do it all over again!
Easy to maintain
- In fact, in this case, easy maintenance means maintenance-free: in addition to a normal cleaning, a simple tube replacement covers all the necessary maintenance. The LED tube contains all the needed technology and is easy to replace.
- Valtavalo LED tubes can be installed and replaced without any electrical work, and it can be done easily and quickly during routine building maintenance.
- The luminaires, however, do not contain separate ballasts or chokes, that may be difficult to replace. This means that in most cases, in addition to normal cleaning, they don’t require other maintenance.
Easy to upgrade
- If lighting needs to be adapted to a new purpose, it can be done by replacing the light sources. For example, if a part of a room requires better colour rendering, it can be done by equipping the luminaire with new light sources providing high colour rendering light.
- The lighting level can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of light sources (lighting control is also possible).
- When changing to a tube of the same colour temperature, the lighting remains the same after each change.
Upkeep and maintenance of lighting with replaceable light sources is therefore very easy and inexpensive, and the long life of Finnish-made LED tubes further extends the service intervals. The maintenance and servicing costs of lighting are significantly reduced, resulting in carefree, long-lasting lighting for a wide variety of spaces and industries.
