An easy and cost-effective way to update fluorescent lighting is to replace old fluorescent tubes with LED tubes. In many cases LED tubes can be installed directly into existing fluorescent luminaires if they are still in good condition.
Even if the luminaires have reached the end of their useful life, the replaceability of the light source can still be maintained by installing new luminaires specially designed for LED tubes and selecting light sources to suit the application. - The LED tube is a standardised solution, which means that replacing T8 and T5 fluorescent tubes with LED tubes is easy and safe. Later, a standardised LED tube can also be replaced with another standardised LED tube, regardless of brand – unlike most fixed LED luminaires on the market, which are manufacturer-specific and there is no standardised compatibility between manufacturers.
